Safeguarding

Eastgate is committed to providing a safe environment for everyone, children and adults alike. All children and youth team members are DBS checked, and all relevant staff and volunteers are trained in safeguarding.

Our training video below is packed full of information which you will find helpful.

If you have any further questions about our measures or want to talk about specific needs surrounding safeguarding, please email safeguarding@eastgate.org.uk or speak to one of the team below.

For our full safeguarding statement click here.

If you have experienced harm or abuse, or have felt unsafe at Eastgate, you can report it confidentially through Safe Church, our dedicated and independent reporting route. Reports go directly to a small Safe Church team – separate from our trustees and leaders – who will respond within 5 working days. Visit the Safe Church page to find out more or to make a report.
